Tessa had made a suggestion to try the Modern Priscilla’s Grape Catsup with some brie and prosciutto. It was a great idea. I’m still a bit partial to the toasted blue cheese baguettes but the husband and I were more than happy to eat these little morsels.
All I did was as Tessa suggested, topped pieces of brie with a little dollop of catsup and wrap them with thinly sliced prosciutto. A couple minutes in the toaster over and the prosciutto became a little crisp; the brie, a little melty. Yum.
There’s only a little grape catsup left so I think I’m going to continue to play around with these ingredients. I have a feeling there’s something even more wonderful waiting in them.
If you don’t want to make grape catsup from scratch, any pure berry fruit jam can be used with these and it makes a perfect sweet/salty appetizer.
